That meeting you have—what if it were the final interview for a job you really wanted?
You might consider showing up ten minutes early; or doing more research on who is going to be attending; or preparing better questions; or bringing something valuable to contribute.
When you’re interviewing, you’re asking for something. So you show up with enthusiasm and do things to put your best foot forward. Why not apply that same logic to other aspects of your job?
Then again, this is assuming that people still treat interviews like interviews.
