No. 659 / The worst kind of decision

is indecision.

Like a basketball player getting caught between shooting and passing - it almost always leads to a turnover. Or an indecisive driver deliberating between stopping and going - it’s an accident waiting to happen.

Or the unsure boss or a wishy-washy candidate. 

Yes, making decisions is hard. But we sometimes put too much pressure on them. How long should your thank you note be? Who cares, write one and hit send. Black tie or blue? Choose black and move on. 

You might be wrong! But at least you’ll know for next time. And it sure beats the alternative of still trying to decide how long your thank you note should be.
