If you want a new sales job, don’t merely apply online.

You’re in sales, after all. Great salespeople do more to get noticed.

A message on LinkedIn is a good place to start, but what about a LinkedIn voice message? What about a personalized deck on the value you bring? Even more, make it into a video explaining why you’d be a good fit and send it straight to the hiring manager. If you want it, show it.

Almost nobody does this!

Resumes are a dime a dozen. They’re going out of style (and for good reason). Although companies still want to see a resume, that’s going away very soon. What else can you do to show your work? To show why they don’t need to look any further?
